What to wear - information to pass to parents

We have an online portal for parents to fill out the consent form. It also includes what to wear, what to bring and the location of the CommuiTree site (if you are attending our woodland)

We will also email you a paper consent form for you to send home to parents. It is the class teachers responsibility to ensure all parents have filled the consent form and that any dietary or special requirements have been included.  If a parent has not filled out the form we will require the teacher to sign on their behalf.

Please check this link before sending, make sure it identifies your individual requirements.

Paper Consent Form

We would prefer parents to fill out our online consent form however we understand that for some parents this is not possible.

Here is a generic paper version for you to download and send home. If you require a bespoke  consent form, we can provide and email accordingly.

CommuniTree Summerseat directions (Hill Street)

Download Directions

We currently meet at the Basketball Court near the entrance to The Island and its woods. Please arrive here 5 mins before the start time. This is accessible on foot from the entrance at the bottom of Kay Street.

Parking

If you are arriving by minibus/coach then we suggest that you park along Cliff Avenue, Summerseat, Bury. Walk directly down the hill, follow the road around at the bottom of Hill Street and round onto Kay Street. Stay left and find the area underneath the first railway arch you can walk under on the left hand side. Keep walking under the arch, following the tarmac until it opens out on to the basketball court, where our staff will meet you.

Please park with respect of local residents and access ways, spread out the parking wherever possible, it is only a very short walk in from Cliff Avenue to the site.

Please note that there is NO ACCESS FOR VEHICLES or PEDESTRIANS via Kay Street or Waterside road coming across the river.

If you are traveling via Bass Lane, this road is a single track so the general rule is two vehicles at a time using the passing places to give way so not to cause a traffic jam.
